Welcome to the British Columbia Association of Animal Massage

&

Bodywork Professionals

Here you will find information about the Association and it’s Members.

Animal massage and Bodywork modalities have been used as a complimentary, well-being service to all animals since the dawn of time.  Touch is one of the most basic and most required of the senses and is considered to be the one you cannot live without.

Massage and Bodywork techniques serve our animal community and the guardians that love them, by using gentle, non-invasive techniques to create a mind/body/spirit connection.  It is this connection that aids the body on emotional and physical levels by creating relaxation, toxin release, flexibility, range of motion and more.

The reasons for partaking of Animal Massage or Bodywork, range from simply maintaining your animal companion’s level of regular routine to enhancing fitness and prevention of injury for those that compete, perform or work; to rehabilitation, aiding through lifestyle transitions, geriatrics and   end-of-life to list only a few.

Our Member Providers are held to a required level of education, skill and ethical code of conduct.  By enlisting the services of our Members, you may rest-assured that you are working with an approved Professional.

“Animal Massage is a wonderful adjunct to Chiropractic.  I often refer my animal patients for massage by qualified Practitioners to speed up healing and to help complete the total health care package for the animal.”
