The following professionals have agreed to share their knowledge and act as a special resource to our Members. They are experts in their fields and we would like to acknowledge their contribution and support to the Association.

Leslie Reid

Leslie has spent her life being involved with horses. Attending UBC, she majored in physical education. She attained her Level III Canadian Coaching certification and was named Coach of the Year 1989 by Canada’s Governing Body of horse sport.

Leslie trained with horses in Germany and in 1996, She was not only the first rider to qualify for Canada’s Olympic team, but also captured the Volvo World Cup Dressage Canadian League Final. Furthering her credits is the Individual Gold Medal Dressage at 2003’s Pan American Games.

She now spends her time running her state-of-the-art, Top Fox Equestrian Centre in Langley, BC.

Cheryl Gordon

Hailing from Washington State, Cheryl’s expertise covers many years in the corporate marketing and promotions industry. She also created her own marketing and event company that saw her travel the world. Over the years, her passion for lifestyle sustainability for both people and animals prompted her to obtain a degree in natural health.

Her animal career and studies notably includes learning about wolf behavior while at Wolf Haven Sanctuary, working on wildlife rescue and preservation with park rangers and scientists in Montana and being an animal massage instructor at a premier school.

Cheryl currently designs and teaches classes in nutrition, aromatherapy, Reiki and massage for people and animals via her company, Golden Ratio.
